Savoury Tart

This savoury tart is a very traditional South-African Afrikaans recipe. You basically grow up with savoury tart at most events, most commonly served as a savoury item at a birthday party. You get a lot of variations, but the most common variation's ingredients consist of bacon, vienna sausage and cheese. This savoury tart recipe can make one large one, or individual ones. This is a lovely meal for my own family for a quick dinnner. We normally have a lovely summer salad and a Portuguese roll with this meal. It is very very tasty, and you will linger for more!

  7. Spray an oven dish well and add the mixture

  8. Bake for approximately 30 minutes until light golden brown and cooked through.
